What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This cafe is almost like sitting in a train (in a good way). It’s a very warm, quaint vibe inside, the workers are so pleasant, and the decor just adds to the ambiance. Not to mention the food is always amazing. My favorite is the veggie breakfast (pictured - bottom plate) it has home fries, eggs, fresh sautéed veggies (broccoli, squash/zucchini, tomatoes, and a few other things). It’s one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places to go. They fill up quickly so it really depends, but I’ve always managed to get a booth in a timely manner. Definitely worth a try for a Sunday morning!"
"Giving Artemisia an ENTHUSIASTIC five stars! Both the french toast with fruit and a side of real maple syrup and the egg/bean/skillet potatoes were superb. Best french toast I have had at a restaurant (I meant to ask how they prepared them). I barely touched the maple syrup, as the thick french toast slices had plenty of flavor on their own. We also had a side of thick, thick bacon cooked to an excellent crunch with their own unique flavors (I meant to ask how these were prepared, too). Very pleasant staff who were very attentive. Friendly atmosphere."
"Artemisia Café is a cozy little brunch spot tucked away in Portland. The atmosphere is quiet and low-key—just right for a slow morning. I had the eggs Benedict, and my wife went with the vegan hash. Both were good, though not especially memorable. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the relaxed vibe. A nice option if you’re nearby and looking for a mellow, no-frills brunch."
"A very cozy spot to have breakfast at where both the food & service were excellent. Their cinnamon roll was massive, & all 5 members of our group enjoyed what we each ordered. Our waitress had a great sense of humor & was very attentive!!"
"This restaurant was so homey. The decor is inviting, cozy, and full of fanciful touches. The hostess and waitresses were very pleasant. The food options (we went for brunch) were numerous and varied. My selection was tasty and a good amount. The coffee, unfortunately, was NOT hot. And the bread options were limited. But those are my only points of dissatisfaction. I would recommend this restaurant and I would go back."
"I really really wanted to like this place. It's small and very cute, and the coffee/chai was great! My only issue was the seared tuna salad. The seasoning..."
