"People throw around 5 star reviews these days like it ain’t no thing and I get it, anything less than a 5 is a fail in this modern world but Fika deserves the 5/5. Biscuit sandwich: biscuit is the perfect flavor and texture, rich but not claggy. The toast is sweet savory and just the right amount of salty with textures that come together delightfully, nothing falls apart when you eat it either. Gorgeous food. Great latte too."

"Fika is a hidden Swedish gem in Saco, Maine! We ordered a cappuccino, iced latte, the Kanelbullar and Kardemummabullar pastries. The Kardemummabullar is so fresh and delish with a hint of cardamom. The Kanelbullar was also just as good and fresh! We got there on the earlier side since there was a line by the time we left. The coffee was really great and a perfect pairing with the pastries. We sat outside at the picnic table with our puppy and it was a nice spot for a quick fika."

"The good - the drinks, merch, and vibes are all very good. The meh - the food. I've had at least a dozen pastries over 4 visits over the past 18 months and theyve all been solidly "fine". Haven't had anything I'd call bad, haven't had anything I'd call good. They get some credit for trying interesting combinations of flavors, but they're typically lacking much actual courage. The flavors they combine are all very subdued so as not to be opinionated. Think "orange pastry with a hint of cardamom called an orange cardamom brioche" sort of thing. The bad - the wait and the service. Expect to spend an hour in line. Expect the staff to come out at least 2-3 times to mark the things you've been waiting for "sold out". Expect your groans to be met by "come back earlier on another day if you want to get one". Experience at the counter is typically fine. Not rude or anything. Overall I think it's fine and worth stopping by if you happen to be driving past and see them without a line and with things in stock."

"I went for the first time today! Not only are the seating options super cute but they staff are so warm and friendly. I spilled my tea everywhere (totally my fault) and they were quick to make me a new one. I had a breakfast sandwich that was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. The London fog is dreamy."

"Delicious pastries! We always stop here when we visit Maine. I always look forward to the cardamom knot and the focaccia of the day (honorable mention of the seasonal tomato focaccia). We also have tried several other delicious pastries here. Staff is always friendly! Highly recommend."
