"Stopped by for a quick coffee and tea. The drinks were good, but the service was just okay, they gave us the wrong drinks and we didn’t think it was worth the trouble to let them know. The real standout is the seating: plenty of room, comfortable, and a great space to get some work done or relax for a bit. Overall, a nice spot with a great atmosphere. With a little more attention to orders, it could easily be a five-star experience."

"We got a breakfast bagel and a ranchero burrito, good portion sizes but not massive enough to waste food. Fresh ingredients, really really tasty. Also got iced mochas to go Definitely recommend stopping here!"

"A great place to come for: 1) Well-priced coffee. 2) Relaxed vibes. 3) A seemingly overstaffed — yet consistently overwhelmed — crew of five or six young baristas outfitted in curiously oversized headsets. 4) A series of surly responses from the lead barista to the, apparently, obnoxious queries: "Do you have decaf today?" and "Can I please order a medium decaf?" 5) The nagging feeling that the only explanation for points 1, 3 and 4 (above) is that the headsets are possibly being used for multitasking/side-hustling as an outsourced call center support team and/or multi-level marketing cold call boiler room. 6) A suddenly manifested case of decaf-specific ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). 7) A lovely retro style map of Maine on the back wall. UPDATE: Came back a little later to see if I could get some more context on what curious machinations were driving points 3-5 (above) and enjoy looking at the lovely map again. As it was a quieter moment inside, I was able to enjoy an extended session of "hot tea" served by the lead barista about all of the day's most annoying customers, as well as a genuinely Gossip Girl worthy tirade about why a certain boy would not be getting a call anytime soon from someone because they were not living up to certain expectations? Not sure exactly as I was getting a little uncomfortable listening (from the other side of the room with earbuds in!)."

"We had never been to Scarborough grounds before today- and ordered online. We didn’t catch the order ready time until after we submit the order and quickly realized it was over an hour away (11:30am). We went in to double check the timing and see if they were just super busy. We got there with a couple other customers in the cafe but we were advised that online orders are paused until 11am on weekends. After we told them we didn’t realize that- they offered the make the order early this time- which allowed us to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Very accommodating- polite- and orders were delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"I got a honey lavender iced latte. Delicious, not too sweet, and good coffee underneath. Also got the egg cheese and avocado sandwich. Love this combo. Very fresh!"
