"Pleasantly surprising. It’s been a while since a new cafe impressed me with something different. Spacious to start. Ample parking in the back. Latte = creamy and balanced in flavor, not too bitter or sweet. The creaminess of the espresso cannot be stressed enough, the photo shows it well. Chocolate scone was soft and not the usual stale texture I’ve had before elsewhere. Had notes of orange which was addicting. Truly 10/10 experience, no complaints 💖"

"What an incredible new addition to the Ann Arbor coffee scene! When visiting Hazel, you can tell how much love and attention to detail went into this place. We visited on a Sunday morning and were greeted by welcoming staff, and a great vibe. The place was super busy, but it didn’t seem to phase the staff. Impressive for a brand new shop! They really have their branding on point, which is so fun to see from a locally owned place. I love when owners have a vision for their business. We tried a classic whole milk latte, and the seasonal Michigan Maple Latte. Both were delicious and exceeded expectations! We were planning to grab and go, but the place was so inviting, we stayed for a while and enjoyed our coffee. Wishing Hazel all the future success they deserve. "Such a cute coffee shop! If you’re looking to study or have a conversation with a friend, this is the place to go! I ordered the banana bread (or banana nut) latte and it was INCREDIBLE - not too sweet and the perfect amount of banana. The coffee is reasonably priced as well. Will be coming back soon!!"

"the smoothest and most delicious matcha i've had in a long time. the banana bread flavor isnt overpowering - im so emo its seasonal bc i want this all year round 😭 the space is super cute and cozy, with lots of natural light from the windows. the merch is super midwestern (complimentary) and i had to get a shirt, i also wanted one of the diner mugs but they were out 🥲 speaking of mugs, they also have a cute lil mug trade system where you can take a mug leave a mug!"
