Instead of a clear answer, I was met with a sarcastic comment saying “since World War II”, which came across as rude. I genuinely like supporting local businesses, but it can be disappointing when the experience isn’t as welcoming as it could be. Sometimes all it takes is a smile and a kind word. Is that hard?"
