What People Are Saying
from Google"This has been one of my favorite stops for years now. I love the options for a variety of different foods. Bangkok 96 street food is my favorite for their Pad Thai Roll, mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea. Also the dumplings from Momo Cha are phenomenal. Great atmosphere."
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Incredible⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Detroit Shipping Company is a fantastic food hall-style spot with a great mix of dining options, bar areas, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a bite and hang out. We tried dishes from Motor Burger, Halal Street, and Takitos, and everything was delicious. Each vendor brought something unique to the table, offering fresh and flavorful meals that didn’t disappoint. From Motor Burgers we enjoyed the motor burger and fries, spring rolls from Momo Cha, Birria Ramen, Al Pastor Nachos, Variety of Tacos from Takitos and fries from Halal. What really stood out was the incredible staff—friendly, attentive, and truly committed to making the experience enjoyable. Honestly, the service alone is enough to bring us back, and the great food is an added bonus. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!"
"Update: please do not support Detroit shipping company. It’s October 26 at 2 AM in the morning. The rattling that you hear in the video is the vibration that’s so loud that it is shaking Heather Hall apartments, a brick structure. The restaurant is closed Music is vibrating so loud that our entire apartment building is vibrating and everyone in the building has been woken up. The owners host people after the hours. Which is illegal, This restaurant is a disgrace to the city of Detroit. They would not do this in any other city in Michigan. They have no respect for the city of Detroit nor the residence. Heather Hall apartments have 72 apartments. And every single one of us are woken up by this. It’s babies, families, people that work in the a.m. I cannot stress enough! Please stop supporting Detroit shipping company. I’ve already reached out to the city council. Please stop supporting them! The owners our lawless they feel untouchable. This establishment is becoming a disaster in the neighborhood. On Sunday, October 19, they had a very loud drunk karaoke night that didn’t end until 10 PM, when we have to go to work in the a.m. I’m writing this at 12 AM because I can’t sleep. Legally it becomes a noise disturbance after 10 PM however, this is a abuse of the law. This could be heard in the entire neighborhood, even by Woodward. This is not the only issue on, weekdays they are playing music until 12:30 AM. Sometimes on the weekends they’re playing music until 3 AM. I live in the apartment building heather Hall which is not a low or government assistant building. Apartments are $1200 a month. They have not communicated with anyone in the neighborhood to ask if there is a disturbance. When I called, one of the employees answered the phone with a condescending attitude, as if why am I complaining about the noise? I’ve written them numerous emails, numerous phone calls. Its completely unfair to this entire neighborhood and definitely to the residence at Heather Hall apartment. That we have to stay up until they stop playing loud music, it’s people staggering out of the restaurant drunk. Is it necessary? Are you making more money? This establishment should be a jewel to the neighborhood however it’s a headache, a nuisance. I recorded numerous videos. It is illegal on the weekend to have loud music playing at any establishment anywhere in the city of Detroit after 11 PM. This has been going on for months. No respect for the law no respect for the community."
