from Google"We absolutely love the Highlands for a high-end meal with excellent service. The executive chef is incredibly gifted and the menu is a masterpiece. It’s like an art form. Our servers were incredibly attentive and accommodating—we had to leave quickly because of an emergency with the children at home, and they were very quick to gather everything to help us leave promptly. The expert wine pairing is certainly worth it. It goes without saying that the view is second to none. Please do yourself a favor and make this restaurant a priority to visit!"
"Time to find a new favorite restaurant… Highlands was my dining destination of choice for years. The former GM was always so attentive and accommodating. He remembered our names and always took note of our seating preference. He and the amazing fare were the reason we kept going back. I and my best friend revisited Highlands on December 6th this year. When I tell you I was shocked over the poor service and food, here’s what I mean… In my reservation, I requested a seat for two on the window. Instead we were walked to a booth behind a large pillar with no view. One of the reasons we go to highlands is the view, like everyone else. I asked the hostess if we could have one of the open 2 tops on the window. She said she’d check, but shortly after a man came over stating he was the GM and tried to SELL US the table on the window for over $200. But that’s just the beginning: - my friend never got her drink, the order was taken right after we sat down - my drink took about an hour to arrive. - our dinner came 2 hours in and was cold. - the new menu has all the steak options moved out of the 3 course dinner and under “reserve” with the exception of an 8oz NY Strip. At the end of the day, my observation of the menu, service and management is that it was mediocre to poor. Each course has very little content of the main dish and was “decorated” with leafy garnished, mustard seed soaked in only god knows what and egg yolk added that came gooey and damn near hard boiled with no flavor. It ruined the appetizers one of which was a wagyu tartar. The mushroom risotto was just warmer than room temperature and tasted like a stove top boxed version. In the end, the only two good things that came of going to highlands was that our drinks eventually arrived an hour in and we had the pleasure of leaving right after dinner. If anyone knows where the former GM went, I’d love to visit the establishment he’s at now. But we are done with highlands. Ps. Their drink menu is very limited so the drink in the attached photo here is a mix I gave the server to ask the bar to make. It’s called a winter Paloma."
"Food was average at best, none of it was worth the cost. Our service was phenomenal, she was bubbly and had a great attitude(blonde hair don’t remember her name), she took pictures of us and was great. The service was 10/10. The food was 6/10."
"If you look for an amazing experience with outstanding food and unforgettable customer service you should check this restaurant. It’s been a while since I had such a delicious wagyu tartare! Steaks, desserts; everything was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for your high quality service! People like you make guests come back! I’ve already bought Riesling which you recommended!"
"Didnt get to eat but the service, views and drinks did not disappoint. The menu sounded great but was certainly on the higher end side. Would love to go back and dine on a future visit for.sure. If you are close and the weather is clear go up for the views! PS- its not easy to find the elevator and it is glass all the way up so be ready for a little adventure to get there."
