"La Jaliscience Supermercado Y Taqueria was really nice; it was well-lit and had nice lanterns throughout the outdoor patio. The music was nice and the vibe was full of warm welcoming energy. I enjoyed the environment and felt like they had everything I could want. There were fresh and frozen food items, toiletries, cleaning supplies, candles, artwork, and a butcher shop. The restaurant area was beautiful! I would love to try some of the hot food next time, I ended up getting an 18-pack of eggs which will help with my fitness journey."

"My daughter and I decided to try La Jalisciense Supermercado Y Taqueria while spending the day in what I believe is Mexicantown, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! We were lucky to have a warm October afternoon, so we sat outside and soaked in the atmosphere. We ordered tacos and margaritas, and both were excellent — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Beyond the food, what really stood out was the vibrant cultural energy. The colorful murals surrounding the space give it so much life, and you can feel the authenticity in every detail. Another bonus is that there’s a supermarket right next door, stocked with authentic Mexican ingredients, so you can grab something to take home after your meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. "We went in looking for a piñata for our Halloween party and the young woman offered to find us a dia de los muertos one from the back. We told her no hurry, we were going to eat at the attached restaurant and pointed out a black and silver one that would work if she couldn’t find any others. When we got back she had covered the Minnie Mouse plates with skulls for us, we hadn’t even asked. Perfect and amazing! Nicest most helpful staff in the WHOLE UNIVERSE"

"Hidden gem! I would’ve never known it was here had I not been told. Decode was nice; tables and chairs outdated. The food was flavorful, I do feel portion is smaller than your usual Mexican restaurant especially the salsa and Nacho portion. Service was ok…would I visit again, yes."
