"Yes, due to my planning I had to leave but I expected to be able to get a drink and a grabbable food item within 20 minutes and unfortunatley it was not possible. I ordered a Mocha Latte and a raspberry croissant, but had to leave because this location staffs one employee to handle all morning traffic. She was excellent, and kind, but for $16 to not get my drink and a cased food item in 20 minutes is absurd. The poor worker was doing her absolute best, but shame on the owners or whoever is running this place. Morning time is the time busiest for coffee shops - in what world does one worker for a morning rush make any sense!? This place got my money, and won't be getting any return business from me."

"I was up visiting my son at Wayne State and was excited to come to Moka. We arrived at 9a…lights on, doors looked, no one answering the phone. I called another Moka in Detroit and they said that location should be open. There was no note on the door saying that they were closed. Online it indicates that they are open and don’t close until 5p. I am so upset. Very bad business management. Won’t be back."

"By far the best coffee shop downtown/ at Wayne State. The staff is incredibly kind and always makes sure you’re satisfied with your order. For student organizations, they offer catering discounts, which made a huge difference for our event. The tea was a big hit, and everyone loved it! Highly recommend for both individual visits and event catering."
