They check IDs at the door, and the upstairs-downstairs layout gives the place a cozy, intimate vibe. It was rainbow night, and even though my friend and I aren’t rainbow 🌈, we had an absolute blast. The music, energy, and atmosphere were all on point!"

"I had the great honour and joy of DJing at SPKRBOX (upstairs) on a Saturday night and had a blast. I visited a few times during my stay, for an afternoon coffee, and for my gig. The coffee, tea, zero proof and beer/wine/cocktail selection is unique and high quality. The team is absolutely amazing - BIG shout out to Charles, Ashley, Steven and Josh for the hospitality and support - appreciate you all! The crowd is diverse and the place is bustling day and night with a solid ebb and flow. Loved seeing guests dance, enjoyed many fun conversations with patrons and watching people walk along Grand River, and within the bar from my booth view. As a DJ, I have traveled to play several different cities outside of my home over the last five years and this experience stood out as one of my best out-of-town gigs yet. Feeling blessed and grateful. Will be back soon!"
