from Google"A Detroit Classic That Never Disappoints! Vivio’s is an absolute gem in the heart of Eastern Market. We stopped in today and were blown away by the flavors, service, and classic Detroit charm. We started with the Spanish mussels perfectly cooked, fresh, and loaded with bold, savory flavors. Easily some of the best mussels we’ve had in the city! The pastrami sandwich was another standout — stacked high, juicy, and full of rich flavor. It hit all the right notes of comfort and indulgence. To drink, I ordered the Virgin Gypsy Bloody Mary, and wow even without the alcohol, it was phenomenal! The flavor, spice, and presentation were on point. You can tell they take real pride in their Bloody Marys. Friendly service, great vibe, and consistently delicious food this is why Vivio’s remains a Detroit favorite after all these years. Can’t wait to come back! The only thing that I wish they had is just regular plates not the plastic one and silverware. I’m very big on being eco-friendly."
"First time in the eastern market! We came in for their famous Bloody Mary and I end up having two of them and a giant pot of mussels (made special way recommended by the bar tender). Yum!"
"I went here for lunch on a whelm with a friend. I ordered a steak sandwich, it was good but, it would have been better if the bread was toasted."
"Stopped in here one Saturday afternoon with a few friends. Great little place. Love the atmosphere and the food was solid. Everything we ordered was great. The mussels were fantastic as was the Cheesesteak sandwich."
"First time here for my wife & I after biking the Dequindre Cut. Love that this place hasn’t succumbed to the modernization of bars & restaurants that some within the city have done. Service was awesome. We sat at the bar. We both got the Rueben and it was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. The corn beef was so good. My wife got a Bloody Mary and didn’t like it as much as advertised as it only had a faint tomato taste. The bartender was attentive and the owner thanked us for coming in as we left. Would definitely try it again."
