What People Are Saying
from Google"This is a cozy spot to meet up for a meal or coffee. There are plenty of tables and a fireplace in the winter. Our food was ready in just a few minutes and it was delicious."
"Great cozy environment in a quiet location. The drinks in the cafe are a bit pricey but they are delicious. The people are friendly and helpful. The bookstore it's attached too it's stocked with many books to keep you busy while you have a drink or enjoy a snack."
"Hmm, don't you think it's too much too low neck line and too much open skin on the back ? I would say its completely unacceptable dress code."
"Waited just about 20 minutes for a hot chocolate and a Red eye. No one else in line. Four staff members walking around behind the counter. Staff asked multiple times what we ordered. And even then, forgot whip on the hot chocolate and didn’t have flavored coffee ready when they pulled the shot for the red eye. Hot chocolate wasn’t hot enough and the coffee tasted old. We were surprised at how bad of an experience it was."
"Stopped here for lunch as my mom also needed to look for a book for her book club. I ordered a Mediterranean salad. Reading from the menu "mixed greens, red onion, mushroom and cucumber with balsamic vinaigrette and brie croutons". My first clue should have been the description in the singular because it was basically a plate of very overpriced greens with a thin slice of onion and 2 of the thinnest slices of mushroom I have ever seen and a tiny piece of cucumber. Not a crouton in sight. I also added chicken to the salad which was cold and dry. I'm uncertain as to how Chapbook considers this a salad and something that they would actually charge for and serve to their guests."
