"The place was quiet and cozy, nothing standoutish.. The staff was kind and helpful for my 1st time. I like how the owners are not afraid to show their Asian heritage with the display pieces. I love a fun story, it brings me closer to the business. They have some fun drinks on the menu and the food looks fresh. I had a cinnamon scone, which was buttery soft but not fluffy and had the right amount if crumbly crunch. I hope it was made in-house?? I look forward to going back"

"I would give them 6 stars if I could… I’m very fond of cinnamon rolls, and theirs is delicious! And the French Vietnamese Au Lait is excellent. The staff are wonderful, and there’s plenty of seating. I walked so not certain about the parking, but it looks like it is easily found. Lots of options for pastries. Definitely a coffee shop worth exploring. I’m not a tea drinker but they have a large variety of tea available. Long walk but I’ll be back."

"A nice coffee shop serving Grand Rapids. Stopped in to grab something warm to drink on the first cold day of the year. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the menu. Ordered, a seasonal coffee and it was quite tasty. I would absolutely recommend Sweetwaters."

"They have been consistent both times and I like the cappuccino. So far so good and with a calm atmosphere. They also have board games you can break out and play with your favorite type of java."
