What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"On the recommendation of a friend and plus wanting to visit here eventually made it. Upon walking in, was greeted with amazing interior decor. Just wow, it feels soo comfortable in here. More on all that shortly, onto the goods. So I ordered a mocha latte w/oat milk and two chocolate chip cookies. Took my first sip and right away tasted quality. Not too heavy nor too light. Just the right amount overall, a smooth taste. The cookies are homemade, soft, chewy..nothing much else just all on point. Overall a great time here. This shop's unique quality is within the dining experience. It's simply chill vibes. Everything here just revolves around that type of vibe. The books, the layout and different dining rooms for each kinda person. Even if you don't want to be inside, you have a 4th area, an outdoor little patio. What else could you ask for..Great little shop for the masses to enjoy! I'll be back here to try it out more."
"New favorite coffee shop!!! Very casually academia, in an old building and has been here for a few decades. The atmosphere here is wonderful, and they have plenty of tasty options from Italian sodas, pastries, muffins, and lunch options from pop and wraps. Brilliant space to relax and read in with walks of books around. Can’t wait to come back and become a regular!"
"I enjoy the drinks here. The servers create a friendly, small-town atmosphere. The bookshelves and old-fashioned decor add to the charm. I really hope this place stays open. It is quiet and relaxed, making it great for introverts."
"This has been my favorite spot to catch up with friends for the longest time. Today I decided to get a tiramisu. I asked if they had a candle and mentioned it was my birthday. The barisra and two others in the Cafe sang happy birthday. It was very magical."
"Great coffee, tea, treats, and service. We especially enjoyed the unique artwork hanging all over the cafe."
"Recently, the city of Detroit began to see more and more coffee shops pop up with fancy names and fancier menues. But unlike those places where lattes cost..."
