from Google & Yelp"Service Fee of 3% applied to credit card users. There is no prior notification of this charge, written or verbal. Not cool. I've eaten many sandwiches here without that awareness. I understand where a small business may need to have a service charge, but not making people aware is not professional. On the other hand why not just build it into the price and never have the issue. It makes me think it's a moral justification of the management for a cash grab. If you don't put up a sign, I will no longer be a patron."
"We probably picked the wrong things to try. I think the cold brew was plain ol' SToK. The breakfast burritos featured hard little nuggets of sausage buried in concealed egg and cheese product. The salsa on the side had negative-to-zero spice. We regrettably didn't try the featured specialty coffee or wrapped baked goods. We'll have to do that sometime, after which I'll come back and update this review to be fair."
"This place took me by surprise. The wife and I were walking downtown and searched tea. It brought is here. My wife got a watermelon refresher. It did in fact not disappoint. She also had a great conversation about ghostface with the girl that was making her drink. It was warm and welcoming."
"This place is great. It was my first time going. I will definitely be back. Lots of options to choose from. Staff is very polite & friendly. Lots of seating options. Indoor & out door. If you are downtown, I highly recommend."
"My daughter and I went here for breakfast and got soup for lunch to go. Of course the iced coffee and coffee were great but we were most impressed with the food. The breakfast burritos and blueberry scones were amazing!! Jess (the new owner) had homemade potato and ham chowder soup that is so delicious!! If you haven’t been you need to go!"
"The BEST food and service in downtown Kalamazoo. It may look like a plain "coffee house" but in reality it's more than that. The food is FRESH, HOMEMADE,..."
