"The bread on these subs are so good. We loved the combinations of flavors. The vegetarian options are outstanding. No joke, this is probably the best hoagie I've ever had. As a bonus, they have really fabulous ice cream and chips. Get the subs toasted! The bread is still soft."

"This foodie was so excited to have a lobster roll now that I can't get one in Grand Ledge and especially in July when fresh seafood is so hard to get. The store is a little bit difficult to access unless you are able to find a parking spot on the street. Do not park in the lot next door/across the street, you risk being towed. I wasn't greeted when I walked in or as I stood confused of how to order. I ask a lady if the roll was offered today, she says yes and took my order. I must admit that I was surprised when the small $20 roll was handed to me but shrugged it off and thinking it really must be outstanding, I bolt for my car. Unfortunately while the lobster had a good flavor, I didn't find anything special about it. After the second bite I just couldn't get past the greasiness. Just like most people I love the buttered roll but not more than it crab. The roll should be lightly toasted and buttered, only enhance, not dominate. I had to throw it away and eat the crab salad alone. I couldn't eat much of it. It just needed a proper roll and I was so turned off already. ..one of the worst disappointments.. I think it's has too much mayo too, but that's a preference and depends on the flavor of it. I struggle to find why this $20 sandwich is raved about. Possibly it is because its not a readily available sandwich. In this foodies opinion, save your money and make it yourself at home."

"My wife had heard about this place for a while so we came in just to try it out and we're not disappointed. The sandwich I think I had the Edna was really good I really love the flavor enjoyed the vibe of the place. My wife had the shrimp sub it was kind of bland but I feel like my turkey sandwich made up for it. I will definitely eat here again"

"Such a great deli - exactly the sort of place Lansing has been missing for so long. Unfortunately it can be a hard place to spot due to the enormous apartment complex sign that hangs above the door. I had driven by their location countless times and had never noticed the sandwich shop! I hope the building owners can do something about that garish sign - and help out these great small business owners. (PS: we nearly ate all of our food before the idea to take a photo hit)."

"I got the Margaret sandwich and it was SUPER tasty! Pretty big sandwich for the whole size sandwich and they cut it into 4ths. I also had the caramel turtle cheesecake ice cream and that was also super good. Would recommend!"
