"Well the food tasted great I got the cabbage wrap and doughnut. My guest thought the bagel was plain and couldn’t taste the maple syrup. It seemed a little pricey for what you get. The atmosphere was good until a homeless person came in and asked me for money. I now know why they keep the restrooms locked. Stand and wait for your name to be yelled out they don’t have a number system. It would have been great if the food came with a small side or something."

"We stopped for lunch, and tried some burgers and baked goods. I really enjoyed the Breakfast Burger, it was dripping with cheese, and the sauce made it very tasty. My husband also enjoyed the deluxe burger, and mentioned that the beef was very flavorful. The star of the pastries was the raspberry scone…perfect texture and filled with fresh delicious raspberries… so good!!"

"I’m a person who never leaves reviews, and if I do, it’s usually because I hated something. Bangos is fantastic. They’re local to Lansing (which instantly makes me want to support) but they do what most restaurants don’t bother to: they cater to both carnivores and vegans. As someone who’s been trying to eat more plant-based, I REALLY appreciate the chance to order and eat a vegan meal when I’m out and about. And their food is so good! My friend ordered the non-vegan bango and really loved that as well. All in all, solid place. I’m only sad to leave the state and won’t be able to eat here consistently :/"

"I really want to give this place 5 stars but between the burned cauliflower and terrible customer service, I can't. We shop there frequently and are rarely even greeted. Went there and 4 people were working, I came in with no other customers around. I got no hello, have a nice day, “kick rocks” lol….nothing… just looked at me weird and handed me my food. The cauliflower sandwich is a hit but mostly a miss as the cauliflower is over cooked and almost always burned every time I order. There was a time when the cauliflower was whole pieces and not overpowered by being overcooked. Now it is burned cauliflower crumbles…"

"Service was wonderful. Coffee was great! Bagel sandwich left a lot to be desired. The doughnut… wow, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely try the blueberry cheesecake doughnut if you visit. If you like really good bagels, maybe pass on it here. Vibes inside were nothing special, could use some touching up. But the bagel and the doughnuts were amazing!"
