from Google"Where to begin? I ordered the birria pizza and then I added the Dubai chocolate cheesecake because I am unable to resist a dessert case. This is not the first birria pizza that I’ve ever had, which may be my problem. Let’s start with the meat, it seemed like maybe it was a cheaper cut, and it was not very seasoned. The meat was tender, but not very fatty. Next, let’s focus on the sauce. If it is beef broth, i would guess that it is very diluted with another type of broth or water. It also had a strong Indian spice(I’m not sure which one). I get that this is a fusion restaurant, but it just didn’t do it for me. Finally, let’s discuss the tortilla. When I have ordered a birria pizza in the past, the tortilla has always been crispy. If it has the word pizza, usually the tortilla is crispy. This tortilla is grilled, with a cheese crisp topping on one side. The tortilla is surprisingly not crispy at all. I’m a fan of cheese crisps, but I don’t think the cheese crisp layer really added any value. All in all, it was okay. Usually this would generate a four star review from me, but the food was not hot when I got home. The juice or the pizza. I was at the restaurant before the food was ready, and I went straight home, which is ten minutes away, in an eighty degree car. Hence, the three stars. Finally, the Dubai chocolate cheesecake. One of the things I love about Dubai chocolate is the texture. It’s like all the stuff is there, but it’s not fusing. The actual cheesecake was good. The crust was not typical, more of a sugar cookie crust. The crust tasted good, and was probably an okay pair with the cheesecake because of the Dubai chocolate. I might adjust my rating later if/when I try other things on the menu."
"Nice and cozy place for lunch. We ordered the lunch special and I love it so far. The vegetables is cooked perfectly soft, and the bulgogi is delicious. The smoothie I ordered are decent too, large cup so it was so filling. I would go back to this place in the future to try more dishes."
"I've been addicted to Bento Kitchen for a few years now. My best friend and daughter randomly drive to Lansing a few times a month to try different restaurants or hit up one of our favorites. We liked the menu at Bento and decided to check them out and fell absolutely in love. Their drink variety is spectacular and it's awesome that you can get adult beverages here and I definitely felt buzzed off the one drink I had. Since then I've tried their different flavors of non alcoholic drinks which are all delicious. The one thing I haven't been able to switch up yet is my food choice. I get ramen EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With shrimp and extra noodles so I can take some home and eat on it for a few more days. I recently had covid and all I wanted was their ramen so she drove the 35 minutes to get me some! You can also earn rewards and they always have fun little giveaways. I can't wait for their 7 year anniversary this weekend and hopefully win myself a gift card! Absolutely check them out! ❤️"
"I’m a gluten free eater this was my first time being able to have ramen and it was amazing 10/10 I did not expect the clear noodle to be so good. Strawberry lemonade also great, don’t forget to shake it!"
"Bento Kitchen Cravings had a calm/quiet atmosphere. It also has a nice variety of food and drinks, including “Boozy Drinks,” (21+) and happy hour available most evenings"
