Even the day old sandwich bread we used for grill cheese, I would buy again. We forgot about the Babka, I think it was called, and didn’t eat it til 3 days later. Still soft cinnamony goodness!"

"Coffee's Good, But the Pastries Fell Flat Just swung by Chef Sergey's this month, curious to see what it's like now, though I missed its opening buzz. Honestly? It was a bit of a disappointment, despite a few bright spots. The real letdown for me was the pastries. Most of what I tried was either dry or seriously lacking in flavor. It's tough to recommend them. The only one that stood out, and I'd maybe consider getting again, was the Ukrainian cake. The bread was just okay, nothing to write home about. However, the coffee was the clear winner here. It's pretty good and surprisingly strong for Midland, which was a welcome surprise. Overall, while the coffee might tempt me back, the general experience was a miss. As of this month, it feels like they need to do some serious work, especially on their pastries."
