from Google & Yelp"Was in town and decided to stop because of the reviews listed. The parking and enterence is in the back. There is a fair amount of parking which is nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I appreciated the suggestions they made. I also liked how they asked for my milk preferences and if I wanted my cold coffee to be made with espresso beans or cold brew. I ordered a cold specialty drink. The Tiramisu was nice. I ordered a medium but looked like a large. It wasn’t too sweet and the dusting of cocoa was a nice touch. I also ordered a breakfast burrito: Blue Collar Burrito. It was smaller than expected for $7.50. It tasted good and the pressing was a nice touch to crisp the outside. I had wished the salsa and hot sauce were already inside as opposed to be served on the side. I would go back!"
"Update: Came back and tried one of their charcuterie boards— super cute and perfect for sharing. The riverside patio was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was fresh, the service was great, and they make a killer pumpkin spice latte (even in June). I was so happy to find this place. Definitely a local gem, and exactly what I’d picture the ideal small town coffee shop to be. Still can’t get over how cool the canoe lighting fixtures were. The refresher I had was great, and I even found an allergy-friendly snack at the counter with clearly labeled ingredients. The best part was all the handmade art and goods from local artisans — super cute and surprisingly affordable. You can tell they really support the community. I’ll definitely be back when I’m nearby."
"Loved our coffee (perfectly brewed and delicious) and Panini (the rosemary garlic aoili was the bomb). and the outdoor patio was lovely with a great view. What a great way to spend an afternoon!"
"Ambiance and coffee was amazing!! What a treat to have this river view right here in our home town!! Great coffee place to bring your out of town guests to!"
"We started coming for the homemade chai, but quickly fell in love with all that the River Raisin Trading Post has to offer. Lots of space to gather with friends or to hang out on your own. Bring a book or play one of the many games they have tucked around their space (checkers, jenga, bottle toss for your table). They have a lovely selection of gifts and artwork from local artists. They’ve also added to their food selections - always made fresh for you. If you’re a coffee drinker, you can grab an awesome drip or specialty drink."
