What People Are Saying
from Google"Excellent coffee, espresso, and pastries as long as you get there before they sell out. I love the ham/cheese and almond croissants. I can’t resist suggesting an eggy sandwich option as I’m egg obsessed. The staff heats the pastries to perfection if you ask for them to be heated. Great service minus any bs schmoozing – if you’re looking for a barista to compliment your outfit / be fake to you this isn’t the place. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. 🌝"
"As a Coffee Connoisseur, I have one thing that must match the coffee and that’s GOOD SERVICE! The Red Dot did not disappoint. The barista took his time to make us feel welcome and share what he believed may be a good fit based on what we shared as our preferences. The coffee, service, atmosphere and ambiance were all wonderful! Great spot for any occasion, kid friendly, indoor and outdoor seating, and ample parking! Easily a must visit, in downtown Northville! 5 Stars across the board."
"So cozy, wonderful drinks, great work space… red dot has it all. Couches to rest on or tables to set up work for the day. Even outdoor seating too. Got to be careful what time you go because it can get super busy but they have set up more seating lately and that has helped! Their seasonal drinks are always spot on and you can’t go wrong with their spiced chai!"
"Such a nice place & atmosphere, coffee could be better, service is excellent. Price are right. A great place to come after a walk."
"I was feeling hopeful when I was looking at online photos and their menu options. However, the experience inside as a customer was horrible. It was my first time here so I didn't know the roast level of the two pour over offerings. I waited for the barista to be done with prior orders because they are for some reason not staffed to have someone working the cash register to allow a decent flow and give customers the opportunity to order without being rushed. When she finally came to take my order, I asked if the pour overs are both medium or different roast levels. She told me the top option was lighter and when I asked "Is it a medium and the other a dark, or is it a light roast and the coastal Rica is a medium, or are they both mediums, just one closer to light than the other?" Her response was "I dont know, I have another drink to make, which do uou want?" So I chose the costa rica and paid forgetting to even get food. So then I got back in line and asked what the prices are between the butter croissants and the ham and asiago. She didn't answer my question and just rang me up for the ham and asiago. Then, I get the croissant and its burnt and terrible. I would be able to deal with the insane atmosphere with kids playing and blocking the door if the customer service was better, but the combination made this visit a nightmare."
