"Quickwater seems like a decent coffee shop to me. I went with a cafe latte like normal for me, and I found it to be smooth with a little bit of acidity. It was easy to drink without any additional sugar or additives. The scone I ordered was also delicious. The place itself is neat and clean with a modern look. It looks like they sell whole beans and wine too. I don’t think you can go wrong with giving them a try."

"I really like the idea of having an alternative coffee shop with gourmet offerings. The baristas and management are always friendly and sincere. However, after being there a dozen times I continue to be underwhelmed by the beverages, especially when they have gourmet coffee prices. Always, the temperature is tepid. Please make it hotter. Additionally, when I get a drink with a spice sprinkled on top, like cinnamon, there is way too much poured on and the taste is ruined. My suggestion is to have baristas taste their own makings to see for themselves, and to do this on a regular basis. I am too kind to send my drink back but now that I have decided to just bring my business back to the local competitor after being consistently disappointed, I should at least say why. If I ever hear from people I know that Quickwater addressed these issues, and serve hot enough and proportionately flavored drinks on a consistent basis, then I would return. I am still glad that there is a coffee shop like yours in Rockford, and I hope my suggestions help you take it to the next level."
