"What an absolute joke of a club. Went to this place a couple Friday’s ago wearing joggers and got in no problem. Went back tonight and got told no joggers allowed. Place needs to make up their mind. Also, I heard that Tequila Blue and Fifth Avenue are owned by the same person allegedly… I got denied at Tequila Blue that Friday at 1am. Owner needs to make up his mind about a dress code. Plus, Tequila Blue is a sorry excuse for a club so I was shocked they didn’t want any business they could get lmao. Complete joke. I heard O’Tooles was pretty good so might have to try their next time instead of these frauds."

"This place a joke and not sure if it’s racism or whatever it is. Got denied entry couple times for “dress code” I said ok. I asked what the rules are so I can follow it and to be dressed according to the door guy policy no ripped jeans or whatever. Came in normal and got denied for “boots”. My shoes were ankle high styled upscale shoes, nothing cheap nor trashy. Black shirt and normal jeans. I’m not from the area and this type of behavior is unacceptable. While others got in no issues. What they don’t know is I got couple friends at the state regulation department and inspectors for the state of Michigan. I will make sure I submit my documentation to them so they can look into this racism behavior and every time I will pass by and if I get denied I will submit a new complaint report because looks like they don’t take the reviews seriously."

"Visited on biggest bar night of the year. Cover charge was reasonable, but they were charging people before they even had room to let you in, so there were many people outside yelling at staff requesting refunds because, arguably, it’s unfair to pay cover just to wait outside for a CHANCE of getting in. Staff refused refunds to anyone that asked. There was a long line at the main entrance for cash entry or a shorter line at a side entry for credit card. There was a waitress outside crying and yelling at people in line, complaining about the crowd inside. Coat check is at the back of the club instead of near the entry, which would make the most sense. Coat check was horribly unorganized- it took the man 10 minutes to find my coat, even though I had my ticket, and then he tried to argue with me that it wasn’t my coat. There was also an older guy there in a very eccentric shirt that must be the owner or manager and he was creepy. He had much younger barely-legal looking girls hanging on him all night whining to let in their friends, and he did let in several girls, without checking ID, upon request. He’d also occasionally escort the girls behind a black curtain next to the bathroom into the dark where they’d disappear. I stood outside the bathroom for over 30 minutes waiting in line, and never saw any girls re-emerge from behind that curtain."

"Went here for their Halloween party and had a really disappointing experience. My friend was turned away at the door for having ripped jeans even though we saw many white guests being let in wearing outfits that were way more revealing (some literally had their butts out). It was a costume night, so enforcing a “dress code” like that makes zero sense. It really felt like we were being singled out for how we look, and honestly, it came across as racist. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about fair treatment or an inclusive atmosphere."

"I'm not sure where to start with this place. Maybe with the bouncer who seemed personally offended that we wanted to enter? Or perhaps the sticky floor that made me question every step I took? The drinks? Overpriced and watered down. It's like they're actively trying to give you a bad time. Save your money and your sanity – literally anywhere else is a better option. Not to mention the steroid head who “works” the stairs needs a serious attitude adjustment. From the moment we approached, he was giving off major 'I'm too cool for this job' vibes. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like we were inconveniencing him by wanting to go up a flight is stairs. He was on a power trip. His behavior set a terrible tone for the night, and honestly, it made us just want to leave. If the first person you encounter at a venue is that unpleasant, it's a pretty good sign that the rest of the experience isn't going to be much better. Management needs to seriously reconsider who they have representing their business at the door."
