from Google"A very cozy cafe with a good amount of seating, while remaining intimate. I got the campfire latte. I started drinking it and didnt remember to take a picture until halfway through, but the presentation was really cute, with a toasted marshmallow. Absolutely delicious. Sad it only comes in the small size. The breakfast sandwich tastes great, egg cooked to perfection with a runny yolk, soft fresh brioche bun and fresh crispy arugula tomatoes. Love this place, can't wait to come back. Edit to add, I went back again, just as good. Sausage egg and cheese puff came out a bit cold in the middle but they promply heated it some more for me, vanilla bourbon latte is phenomenal!"
"Amazing barista with purple hair thank you so much for making my morning. Delicious latte!!! The smell of the coffee I got for home (which they happily ground for me on my desired grind) is giving me peace on a busy Friday in a hectic world. The way the light flows through the window is like magic. The egg sandwich has tomatoes on it and it’s marinated and dill which it does not say on the menu. There were two people near the register and I told them that I do not like dill and I threw out the sandwich. The vibe was weird at the register. They did not offer a refund, but asked if I wanted the sandwich without the dill tomatoes. I left and sat in the car to regroup before coming back in and asking them to remake the sandwich. I can be a little weird without breakfast in me which might have been why I thought the vibes were off. The barista at the register when I came back in tried to charge me for the sandwich, when I asked she checked with the other woman who said it’s fine to not charge me and remake it. I thought it was weird that they didn’t offer and I had to ask but I tried to ignore it. The sandwich was incredible without the dill. I wish I liked dill! I wish it was marked on the menu! Edit: I paid $20 for coffee beans that I asked to be ground on espresso grind, I went to make my coffee today and it was not ground fine enough for espresso. I’m going to go back today to see if they will replace it or refund me. I would not recommend coming here if time is something of value to you."
"I had such a wonderful experience at this shop! The customer service was absolutely fantastic—everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their products. The selection of teas, coffee, scones, and even stickers was impressive and beautifully curated. I ended up choosing the rose tea, and it was absolutely delightful—so fragrant, smooth, and relaxing. It made for the perfect treat. The scones were fresh and flavorful, and I couldn’t resist picking up a few of their charming stickers as well—they added such a fun and creative touch to the whole experience. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more of their offerings!"
"I visited Lucky Detroit on a bustling morning to redeem my complimentary breakfast as part of a an event, and it was an absolute delight! Despite the morning rush, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The ordering process was straightforward: place your order at the front, then find a seat and wait until your name is called. The café boasts a cozy seating area with free Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for both quick bites and relaxed dining. The abundance of indoor plants added a refreshing touch to the ambiance. One of the highlights for me was the large glass windows that let in so much natural light. You'll find people working on laptops or just enjoying a peaceful morning. I was specifically looking for a vegetarian option and had been eyeing their open-face avocado toast , it did not disappoint! I ordered the avocado toast along with a Nutella latte. I wasn't hungry right away, so I opened the box just to take some pictures. However, the enticing aroma that hit immediately was irresistible. The avocado toast turned out to be one of the best I've ever had. Each bite was bursting with flavor and freshness. Even hours later, the taste lingered delightfully. The Nutella latte was absolutely spot on! It was perfectly crafted, striking the right balance of sweetness and richness. One unique aspect of Lucky Detroit is their commitment to quality. They roast their beans locally and craft their syrups in-house, ensuring each drink is fresh and flavorful. The menu changes seasonally, reflecting their dedication to using the freshest ingredients . This is situated next to Belle Tire. Parking is somewhat limited, and the entrance operates as a one-way, enter from one side and exit from the other so plan accordingly. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic."
"Decent atmosphere.. 2 stars because my $6 tiny cappuccino tasted like burnt bacon and potato skillet grease; not like coffee at all. So weird. Had to dump it. They also do not have coconut milk or caramel flavor which are very commonly loved with coffee."
