"Interesting place, you get a wristband, then pay by the poured ounce for drinks via self-service taps. Wouldn't recommend drinking non-alcoholic drinks as you pay a bit for them. Only had their sweet potato fries, so cannot speak much to the menu. They have tables running D&D on the 4th Tuesday of the month, so that is fun."

"It had a great casual atmosphere. I had a burger, fries, and sweet potato pie. Burger was cooked perfectly with steak fries. The sweet potato pie was spot on, I got a slice for me and one to go and ate them both. I'll definitely be back."

"North End Taproom is one of my favorite places in Royal Oak. They have a great beer selection and the kitchen makes tasty food. I rated one star for “atmosphere” because they really need to make this place 21+. My husband and I were here last night and it was absolute pandemonium due to the children that were present: 1. We had to move seats when we got our food because the group next to us had 3-4 kids that would not stop high-pitched shrieking. At a playground or the beach? Love it. At a restaurant? Inside voices, please. 2. This toddler-aged girl was permitted to wander around the taproom clutching a GLASS to her chest. Guess what shattered all over the floor 20 mins later. 3. This other little toddler girl was brought over to the bathroom area. All of a sudden, we see her wandering alone, bawling and screaming, face beet-red. Dad wanders over a minute later. This was all happened within about 45 minutes, too! This is a lovely establishment and I understand they want the revenue the parents are spending, but I think we’re going to put this place on ice until it stops being a daycare center."

"I liked the variety of beers, they had several options of each type of beer, it was not all IPAs. The atmosphere was really inviting, open high ceilings, but not sterile. They had one N/A beer, a soda, and another N/A option. When you're done, you can just walk out, no waiting for a server or cashier line, I loved that. We stopped in quickly before a movie and didn't have to waste time waiting, we got to drink right away, we got to drink up until we left, we weren't late for our movie. But I could also see it being a good place to hang for a few hours, they have games and food too."

"We were there for a private party. It was amazing to have the place to ourselves. The food is typ bar food, but was clearly marked. The vegetarian dishes were clearly identified and staff was there to assist with any questions or needs. There was a large beer selection, but they also had seltzer, pop, and wine. The best part was seeing everyone enjoy the games provided. The shuffle board was a huge hit!"
