"We've had been wanting to try this place for so long, but every time we were on that side of town, the place was packed. This past Monday, we got lucky and finally got our chance. The food was 🔥! Countertop seating, extremely friendly staff and hot, fresh food. Not to mention, they have fresh juices that were so delicious we bought some for the road (the green cucumber lime one was to die for!). 10/10, must & will go back to try more."

"Such a cute diner. Mostly counter seats with two small tables that seat 4 each. Not a big menu but they have items you won’t see anywhere else. If I see chilaquiles on the menu I always order them since I have been searching for the best in the Detroit area. Well today I found them. Home made chips, eggs cooked perfectly yummy thinly sliced radishes and jalapeños. The BEST CHILAQUILES IN THE AREA. Looking forward to trying the grilled cinnamon roll which seemed to be a favorite for a lot of customers. Breakfast dishes come with Texas toast and cilantro potato’s that made me want to order another meal before I left. A lot of carry outs were being made by the kitchen which seemed to have a very organized method for arranging the pick ups. Don’t let the size of the 24 hour diner scare you off. The food is exceptional and the employees clearly love their jobs. Lunch for two was $22.00 amazing for the quality of food"

"I had a wonderful experience at OWL 🦉, a unique blend of Mexican and American food. A client and family friend recommended it, and I can see why! They absolutely love their cilantro, potatoes, and chicken noodle soup, which I picked up on their behalf during my first visit to the restaurant. The place itself is small and inviting, with engaging Latin-inspired music playing in the background. It's clean and compact, which adds to the cozy atmosphere. I tried the pineapple punch soda and a chocolate chip cookie, both of which were delicious! The staff was friendly and engaging, and the prices are very reasonable."

"Food and staff were phenomenal, I went about 9:30 New Year’s Eve and stayed for the crowd of people. Staff kept it professional and handled that rush really good. Steak and chicken tacos think became my favorite Yall should go check them out. Shout out to Joesph too 3tacos all one flav and cinnamon roll yum Can’t wait to try the rest of the food next time!"

"Gosh I love this place. Humble food executed at a really high level. It’s essentially a Mexican food diner and they put a great deal of care into preparing the dishes. Open 24 HOURS! Cannot express how meaningful this is to me — a touring musician who likes to eat after the show — in the post Covid era where most restaurants can’t sustain operating hours beyond 10PM. I visited with my friends and bandmates twice while in the area — once post show (around 1AM), and once for breakfast around 10AM. The menu was the same. And the staff was just as helpful and locked in at both visits. The dining room is fairly utilitarian but clean and vibey. Cannot wait to come back."
