What People Are Saying
from Google"I tried a flight of the beers at the Royal Oak Brewery, and I thought it was pretty good. The space feels rather like a pub, and it’s a comfortable, welcoming one. I sat at the bar which is backed by their brewing tanks. The staff seemed friendly and I was served fairly quickly. I passed on the food this time, but the menu looked good. The beers I tried were great, and their kölsch might be one of the best of that style I’ve ever tasted. All the beers seemed to be of good quality, however, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. This seems like a good place to hang out for a while with some friends."
"Really cool brewery in downtown Royal Oak with a full service restaurant menu. Beer was quite good, and I really enjoyed the food. It's late November, and they had a pretty legit Santa walking around talking to the kids which was a lot of fun!"
"Bartender was very nice and friendly! Food was about what you would expect for a brewery, I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was good! The beer was ok but I am biased because I am more of an IPA person. Overall would recommend!"
"I liked that I was seated immediately even though there were a lot of customers watching a game. The server was very nice and attentive. My meal was a disappointment though. The hangover burger needs a more sturdy bun. Because of the toppings and sauce, the bun fell apart. I had cut it in half, but it was still a mess to hold. The pickle spears didn’t have enough breading on them, and it was falling off. I had asked to substitute ranch for the garlic dip, but that didn’t happen. The server realized it when she brought me a takeout box, and offered to bring ranch to go. I didn’t have anything else to eat after I left, but a couple hours later my stomach started to feel queasy, so maybe one of the sauces was spoiled."
"Went today for brunch/lunch. I had the Juicy Lucy and my friend had Baja Fish Tacos. The burger was good even though I requested medium rare and it was border line medium well. They were still juicy and flavorful. The burger came with fries which were the winner. They are seasoned fries and the seasoning on them were amazing. I also had the soft pretzel sticks and the asiago cheese sauce was amazing. The mustard was good but a bit strong on the vinegar. So if you are not a vinegar fan skip the mustard. My friend indicated the Baja fish tacos were good but could have used a bit more fish. It was tilapia which is a less meaty fish so that could be the reason. She said they are great for a light meal, they were not heavy at all. Our server was amazing. I wish I caught her name but we were her last table of the day. She answered all my questions, even found out for me what brand seasoning was used on the fries. She also checked on us and was very personable. She was amazing. I hope management realizes how great she is and does everything they can to keep her for the long haul. The atmosphere was great as well. I would highly suggest visiting this location for brunch/lunch. I look forward to coming back and reviewing the dinner menu."
