"I just got back from Chicago, & this place made me wonder why I even left home. It’s funner than any bar in the Loop. It has more girls & just a way cooler vibe. Their signature cheeseburger & fries were good too & under $12! Def. one of the best dive-bars in Metro-Detroit."

"For being a hole in the wall bar, the staff is incredibly full of themselves. The woman that runs the bar is incredibly egotistical and seems to like to stir up trouble. I was threatened by one of their patrons that they were going to come back with a gun, so I looked for an emergency exit in the case something happened. The head security decided that this was a good time to approach me and play "Top Dog" in his words, when he should have been more worried about doing his job and protecting his customers from patrons who threaten gun violence. He even went as far as showing me that he had a gun as a flex while arguing with me why I needed to look for an emergency exit. It came off as Petty and childish. The bartender who is his girlfriend jumped right in and proceeded to inflame the issue, when in reality they had already dropped the ball with the initial problem of patrons coming in and threatening others with guns. Neither of these people should be in the service industry. their inability to handle serious issues like this and proceeding to go on a power trip tells me that this place has a potential to be dangerous. The Staff desperately needs an ego check. Additionally in response to the bars response, the security guard did show his gun within the confines of the bar. Way too big of an ego bordering on threatening Update- I called Ye Olde Saloon and spoke with the "bar manager" or "owner"as they claimed they were both. during the call, she continually cut me off and refused to allow me to speak. I can come to no other conclusion that this may be a systemic issue with the staff at this bar. they have no intention of trying to resolve this issue, and only seem to want to pass blame. I have zero intention of coming back to this bar, and cannot recommend that anybody else should."
