"Recently visited the UP for the first time and we stayed in Sault st Marie. We love checking out local coffee shops when we travel and I had planned on checking out new ones each day, but after day 1 we decided this was the spot for the whole trip. If you like chai you won't be disappointed. I feel like Chai is hit or miss at some places but it's definitely a hit here. The first day I got a dirty chai with oat milk and some of the local maple syrup and it was so good! The next day I ordered a dirty chai with spiced brown sugar and the batista remembered that I got oat milk after only visiting one time! The 3rd day I decided to repeat my order from day 1 because I loved it so much. My partner tried something new each day and loved them all as well. He also grabbed a bag of coffee beans to try at home. Thanks to the employees for making us feel right at home, we look forward to returning some day."

"I recently visited the Superior Cafe at 215 W Portage Ave, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. I went there for a quick breakfast before I hit the road again. They offered a large selection of donuts and other assorted baked goods. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. The cafe was very clean and modern looking in appearance. I enjoyed the artwork on the walls as well."

"For a school project I needed to review a cafe, so I went to Superior Cafe. The food is so good!! The environment is friendly and welcoming. Their service is fast, especially for how busy it was. They offer great parking and free wifi for customers. Lots of space to do homework and study. All in all, I definitely will be coming back as it was a great experience! Thank you!"

"We hit this place up almost daily when we come up to visit. The coffee is good, a little light on the flavors but it makes it not too sweet. The food has been good the few things we have tried and the in house baked items have been really good as well. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is pretty fast for how busy they always are."

"Very cute café with friendly staff. The smoothie was fantastic, but the pasty was the driest, most bland pasty I've ever had. They were fresh out of the oven and I was excited to get one fresh, but was sorely disappointed. It seems the traditional café items are likely the safest bets on the menu."
