"We love coming to TC and finding great new restaurants, and this one did not disappoint. Went to Artisan for the first time to celebrate our 12th anniversary, and loved everything about this place. Melissa was our server, and she and the other staff were wonderful. We got a lovely table right next to the fireplace and a card thanking us for celebrating with them. Melissa even comped our dessert! The food may have been the best I’ve had in all my years coming here. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back."

"We had the milk buns, the beets pastrami, the pumpkin lasagna, and the duck confit. All were superb. It's rare I love the foie gras compliment to duck, but they nailed it. Service was attentive and helpful. We were seated almost immediately. No complaints, though the decor is a little cold for my taste. If I lived nearby, I'd go often. Reminds me of Envie in Lansing."

"We had a great time here. It's fine dining so portions aren't huge but very flavorful. For appetizers we got oyster which were pretty tasty. Our main meal my wife got the duck confit and I got the duo lamb. The lamb was amazingly delicious that my wife ended up taking it from me only after a few bites and I ate the duck. She said and I quote "this is the best lamb I have ever had, I will be dreaming of this lamb. I have been making lamb wrong my whole life." So yea great place for a date 10 out of 10."

"This is a wonderful dining experience. The menu is focused and hyperlocal. The food was properly seasoned, incredibly flavorful and robust. Experienced NYC chef and it shows. This place is on par with Farm Club and the Boathouse, and even cook’s house, imo."

"Traverse City beautifully blends the charm of Lake Tahoe with the sophistication of the Hamptons, and Artisan perfectly captures that essence. This upscale restaurant offers a chic ambiance, exceptional food, and stunning views of the bay. While we dined inside and still enjoyed lovely bay vistas, we'd suggest reserving a patio table if possible for an even better experience. We came for the food and left thoroughly impressed. Our meal began with delightful Mill Milk Buns and uniquely flavorful oysters--tender and perfectly prepared. My steak was exceptional, accompanied by expertly layered potatoes with a delicate, crispy edge. My wife equally enjoyed the Shrimp Alla Vodka, savoring every bite. We finished with a shared dessert, the Fluffy Cheesecake with salted caramel and gingerbread cookies. Trust me--it tastes far better than it might initially sound, and you'll definitely consider ordering seconds. Service throughout was impeccable, matching the high standards of the entire dining experience."
