from Google"We travelled with our three kiddos (we live in town). 3 years, 11 months, and a 2 year old girl with disabilities. We had so much fun! I mostly wanted to come and give a shout-out to the amazing staff! They have rules and guidelines but they were very accommodating for our daughter. They do not allow to bring things in the pool but they did let us use her bath chair to play in the kiddie pool because she can not sit up on her own and is a big girl! They continued to check in on us and from a medical standpoint (she has a trach and gtube) that if we needed anything from them or if they needed to know anything. I did not get the lead life guards name but be did an impeccable job with everyone's safety and continued to check in on us! The kids had a blast . The only reason I have the room a three, which the kids loved the room and was spacious, but we found goldfish and crumbs. Under some of the tables which I don't care but some people might. Thank you gwl!"
"Rooms are probably the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in at a hotel. Our kids thought the bunkbed tent was awesome and the beds were so comfy! Love the wristband option to open the room door. So handy. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and made the overall experience fun and memorable for our kids. And the waterpark itself was super clean and the lifeguards are top notch! Every once in awhile a dummy would be placed in the pool and the lifeguards caught it in no time and retrieved it. We keep a super close eye on our kids in water, but I felt like my kids were super safe in their hands even as they get older. Definitely will be back!"
"Personally, we didn’t feel it was worth the price, especially considering how many great indoor waterparks Michigan has to offer. Paying extra for parking felt excessive, and the waterpark itself is fairly small. It was also extremely overcrowded during our visit. That said, the lifeguards did seem very well trained and excellent at what they do. On a positive note, the waterpark food options were surprisingly good. We tried the pizza and nachos and really enjoyed both. We also ate at the sit-down restaurant: lunch was a good experience, but dinner was disappointing due to very slow service and food that was just okay. Unfortunately, we also had a terrible experience the first night due to noise issues that lasted until after midnight. Even with two sound machines running in our room, it sounded like an airplane taking off repeatedly for hours. The front desk wasn’t very helpful, and while we typically don’t complain about noise, this was truly excessive."
"Had a great time over winter break here with my family! Water park was fun and the rooms were clean and cozy! Staff was friendly and personable! I recommend especially if you have children. Food was a little higher priced than usual but that’s to be expected. They also had a variety of activities for children to do, including a story time with Santa! Quiet time was at 11pm and the entire hotel abided by that and things calmed down nicely! Over all a great trip & I will return as it was definitely geared towards families and creating memories! 😊"
"Each year (recently) our Christmas present is a family trip for our kids/grandkids. We have sought out waterpark resorts because nothing beats the winter 'blahs' better than getting out of the snow and into a swimsuit! But the Great Wolf Lodge provides so much more, and all of it in one, giant building. No bundling up in the cold to walk over and do the activities, as we have done in the past. Non-stop fun things to do all day, and evening, plus the food was fantastic. Highly recommend."
