"Randy’s is the spot in Traverse City to get a hearty and very tasty breakfast or lunch at a very reasonable price. The service is fast and friendly. The time between ordering and getting your meal may be a little slower than some restaurants, but this is because it appears they are always serving a pretty packed house, no matter what time it is. The portions are large, the refills are plenty, and the food is cooked perfectly to your request. And it is delivered to your table hot off the griddle when it is ready and not tepid or cool because the server was preoccupied with something else and let it sit undelivered for a few minutes. This appears to a favorite eating spot for the locals, but visitors to the city are also warmly welcomed as valued customers."

"It would be no surprise to see Randy's Diner featured on an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". This is a no-frills diner with very friendly staff, good service, and delicious meals at a great price. It was busy when we were there and many patrons appeared to be from the local area."

"First time here since I live an hour away. I heard this restaurant advertised on Christian radio so wanted to give them my support. I was impressed with the quick seating. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 35 years as a server so I understand this business. They were very busy so the food took longer but to be expected. I ordered the waffle with strawberries, ham and scrambled eggs. Everything was top notch! The berries were fresh and not in heavy syrup. They provided a side of raspberry syrup which was a really nice compliment to the malty waffle. The ham was above average quality and flavor. The waitress kept my coffee cup full, checked back on me, and prebussed the table right away. Very good experience and I would return again. Much variety on the menu."

"This is what you need. Solid food, great prices and a warm welcoming staff that makes it feel like you are a regular. We travel so very much and some solid eggs , good cup of coffee and a welcoming place is harder to find. Get here and see for yourself."
