"What a lovely local restaurant! I am thrilled that this is in my backyard. Stopped by today for a quick bite and couldn’t be happier. Had chicken fried steak and eggs with rye toast. Fresh coffee. Food came out quick, was hot and well-made to order. Owner was behind the counter and seating people, which we love to see. 4 outta 5 people sitting near me were regulars who ordered “their usual” which is another positive. Seems like the service staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and good at their jobs. Will be coming back!"

"Well I started with my Cobb salad… and noticed it was in a pool of water. No there was no dressing it in… so it had to be the lettuce that was not thoroughly drained after being washed.. not sure but EW. THEN, I looked at my Fiances food… and noticed the meat is PINK. I’m sure it’s chicken or turkey… the Julienne salad. He now is disgusted and have no dinner to eat. His is also wet at the bottom, but not as bad as mine was. To top it off: forgot my mom’s baked potato. This was my mother’s birthday dinner, and it seems as though all of our meals were rushed. Not finishing cooking the meat, wet lettuce, forgetting things. It’s a waste for a refund this late at night and we’re just considering eating McDonald’s at this point, probably less of a chance of getting sick from. This is the worst encounter I ever had with a restaurant."

"The best chicken salad sandwiches I ever tasted. Their soups are homemade never had a bad meal here. HARD WORKING PEOPLE. ENJOY coming and waitress. Linda is so nice & friendly. Owners are the best here. Thank you for making the best tasting food around town. Good home cooking meals."

"I have to start by saying this family dinner is one of the most amazing places I've had the pleasure to eat. Not only is the food portion huge, but the prices are, in my opinion, way to low for the quality of food they serve!!! The best part is everyone treats you like family from the moment you walk in. I never once had a chance to ask for a refill because they where already there topping off my drink or coffee. To the owner Lisa you have created an amazing dinner that I will be visiting over and over and cant wait to try my next meal. I've had the liver and onions 5/5 Breakfast Special 5/5 and fish and chips (subbed for mac and cheese) I can't wait to come back and try a new dish."

"This restaurant is a good spot for some food closest to home cooked as you can find. Now, the restaurant has a lot of senior citizens that frequent the dining room, so I wouldn't say this is a great place for any kind of rowdy get-together, like a child's birthday or a baseball teams luncheon. However, it's a wonderful place for a delicious meal in a quiet, calm setting. The fish n' chips were extra awesome. The menu has plenty of homemade style dinners and lunches. I imagine their breakfasts are pretty good, although I didn't eat breakfast, the menu had a lot of choices I would've loved. The prices are reasonable and portions are good. I can see myself returning for a meal with my folks very soon."
