What People Are Saying
from Google"Came on 11/09 for dinner. Place wasn’t too busy and we were seated quickly. We ordered two OG Detroit style pizzas, a couple burgers, and some tostones. Cheeseburger wasn’t flavorful and was kinda dry. As for the fries, neither the color or taste was great, perhaps they should switch their oil more frequently. The tostones were a let down. I’ve had them for years at home and at restaurants but these were over done. Lastly, the pizzas were lukewarm. No idea how a pizza isn’t piping hot when you get it at a restaurant. While the sauce wasn’t bad, I really didn’t care for the globs of cheese that were no longer melted. All in all, none of us really enjoyed our food and we were disappointed the pizza wasn’t as great as we thought it would be. Service was largely good. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back as I didn’t enjoy anything I ate."
"They're running a great promotion for the summer, 2 for 1 all day, every day on everything have on tap. Don't sleep on this place! We've known about this restaurant for a while now, but never tried it until today. What didn't realize was this was several restaurant concepts in one! We went with the Minnesota Burger Company menu, though you can pick and choose off of any of the menus. We started with drinks, Downeast Original Cider, which was excellent, and the Unicorn Blood Red Ale, which was also pretty good. We tried the cheese curds, which were excellent and perfectly deep-fried. It came with a jam for dipping, which was pretty basic, but still good. My wife went with the slider meal and had the beef brisket slider and the shredded turkey slider. She said they were both tasty and could have used a bit more sauce, but overall, she said she would get it again. I went with the classic smash burger, which wasn't as smashed as I thought it would be, but it was still delicious. We were there on a Saturday night, around 6:30, and had no issues with wait time or service. They had a couple of board games you could play near the bathroom, but seemed like most of the pieces were missing. I think this is a great idea and I hope they add some games in the future. We definitely would have stayed for another round. We're looking forward to going here again and exploring some of their other concepts."
"This spot has gone through a lot of name, menu, and concept changes over the years, but Revolve Hall is hands down the best version yet—it finally feels like it fits the ever-evolving vibe of the location. We visited on a Saturday night and sat on their summer patio, which is fabulous. The new Vietnamese shrimp crepes were phenomenal and definitely the standout dish of the night. We also ordered the pork belly, which was good but a bit underwhelming—the pickled veggies were almost nonexistent. For a rich, meat-heavy dish, I think it would really shine with more veggies and herbs on the side (and pickled veggies are such an easy, inexpensive addition). The cocktail menu is so much fun—I had two different matcha drinks, and both were amazing. Service has been hit or miss for us in the past, but this visit was solid. I really hope Revolve Hall thrives—it feels like having a South Minneapolis restaurant right in Apple Valley. While the prices might seem high for the area, they’re fair considering the unique food and great atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to going back to try the ice cream tacos—they sound like such a fun idea!"
"While out shopping one weekend morning we decided to check this place out for breakfast. My daughter chose that breakfast burrito which was absolutely huge and I chose the salmon both were incredibly delicious."
"Nice place in the neighborhood to go and get some food and just relax. This restaurant has a full service and self service. Self service you order your food at the counter and they bring you food. You get your own water. Weren’t too hungry so we got some wings and Lechon Kawali. The wings were Smokey and moist. The Lechon Kawali was crispy and well seasoned I liked their dipping sauce. Their menu is diverse, got some Asian mixed in with American and Spanish. Great place to go and have a couple of drinks and catch up with friends and family. The guy taking orders was very nice and explained the menu and how the restaurant operated."
