from Google & Yelp"We are always on the hunt for Somali owned coffee shops and this is one you have to visit! The best part? This place is absolutely cute. It’s so inviting and the workers were really nice to us. We ordered Somali tea, mango juice, sambusas and treats. Everything was good and many of us agreed it’s probably some of the best Somali beef sambusas that we’ve had. The worst part? It’s an easy place to miss when you’re driving but please visit if you can! Only street parking available that we noticed."
"Very nice person working in thereand we were excited to like this spot but with only one order ahead of us it took 25 min to get our food. The main complaint is that the wait, it seems good to note that the Avocado Toast was not even toasted. The rest of our order was also generally underwhelming. I don't know if I would do it again even though we hoped to like this place."
"Dero coffee shop is a quaint treasure right here in our local neighborhood in Central NE. It is aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are of high quality. When you enter, it has a nice atmosphere with inviting decor. It is a nice spot to study and grab some good coffee. They also have a wide selection of other menu items. I got a biscoff tres leches cake and it was 10/10. The other members of my party got a mango lemonade which was pretty sweet and refreshing and Somali coffee which hit the spot just right. I enjoyed my experience here at Dero and recommend everyone to stop by. The owners are two Somali parents who were warm and lovely to chat with. Parking is on the street and they have a parking lot as well. I hope you enjoy your time here as I have."
"Such a cozy and welcoming spot! The place has a homey feel, and the prices are super affordable. I got a delicious Somali coffee and a samosa for under $7. The staff is really kind, and it’s a great place to meet up with friends or get some work done in a laid-back setting. They have delicious Somali pastries along with great drinks. Definitely worth a visit!"
"Stopped by here not realizing that it was a “Somali coffee spot” but so happy we did! It’s cozy and quant on the inside, yeah it looks like a house on the outside and honestly some of your best coffee will come from spots that look like this, so maybe judge less on how a place looks 🤨 (tho honestly they have a really cute wall / area set up perfect for “ig” photos inside ) I got a vanilla iced latte ( loved it, not too sweet which is how I personally enjoyed my coffee ) my partner got the better item though; the Somali coffee rips, the flavors in it reminds me of a really good chai tea but it’s coffee 🤯 10/10 recommend this place; way better than any chain coffee place in the area 🔥"
"Stopped here on a day off with my mom. It had been on my list for a while to check it out. They had a pretty simple menu. The pastries and food looked good..."
