"Historic brewery in Duluth. It is buried inside the old brewery which now hosts several businesses. The tap room is in the old barrel room which is a great environment for having a beer or two. If you have a big group they have some overflow space. On my stop they had 8 of their beers on tap including: an apricot wheat, starfish pale ale, an American lager, oatmeal stout, hazy IPA, sour dragonfruit, another lager and a dunkle that is really quite good. Everything is pretty good but nothing really blew my mind. They do serve food in the barrel room which is great. Service is good and they have a full bar for those less inclined to breweries. Stop and have a good time."

"My wife and I went out for a nightcap and stumbled upon the Fitgers Brewhouse. Very cool building and space. When inside, we encountered the barrel room and found a table. We sat patiently for about 15 min while the bartender talked with the 4 other patrons in the bar. We eventually went to the bar directly and got our drinks. Never were we greeted or offered any service. Nice drinks, terrible service."

"Please do not go here if you are under the age of 30. We went here for a date around 6:30pm, Saturday Nov 1st. The bartender asked “are these real?” about our ID’s (we are both 21 years old), and told us then “the serial numbers look weird”. Stared at our real IDs for a solid minute. We were able to show second forms of ID to confirm our birthdays and he made our drinks. An apology for this misunderstanding would have been appreciated. We were not helped or spoken to again until the check came, so he obviously didn’t deserve an outstanding tip. He then looked at the tip that he received and said “oh are you proud of yourself buddy?” While we understand the importance of checking IDs, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome because of how this was handled. Please train your workers to treat their customers kindly, and not filled with ego."

"Nice space to grab a quick drink and lots to do in the building. I personally wished they had more options but did appreciate the variety."

"Our bartender Alec was very welcoming and entertaining. Drinks were perfect. We had bacon cheese curds with chili Aoli and it was full of great flavor. We will be back."
