What People Are Saying
from Google"Upscale restaurant, reservation prefered. We walking in late on a Saturday night without reservation and barely got a table at the bar. Server's were plesent and very busy. Food was slow coming out as expected with it that busy. Salmon was cooked excellent crispy edge moist inside. Smooth red mashed potatoes Buffalo burger was seasoned well. Long beer and drink list to chose from"
"I went there twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Very very good and fresh food, the atmosphere is very mellow and welcoming, the restaurant itself clean and neat looking. Both times the waitresses and host were attending our table perfectly, very attentive without being "too much". All in all hands down one of the best places I've ever been to."
"My husband and I got there before peak hours like 7:45 am and ordered. 5 other tables with more people were sat after us but they got their food before us. We had to ask out waitress where our fiod was. Then it came right away however When we finally got our food it was luke warm and tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. Very dissapointing. They offered to remake it but it would be a longer wait because kitchen was now backed up. Nothing else was offered. We had plans so could not wait. So we ate the sub par food. Horrible service for such a highly rated place. I guess we were just the unlucky ones of the day."
"This was easily the best meal I’ve had at a restaurant in probably a year. I have zero complaints and nothing I could even suggest to make the experience better. There was a group of 55 in front of us but the staff made sure to let us know immediately before seating us that the wait would be long. Due to the long wait they were providing free beer and offering an appetizer per table while waiting. Our server was great. He had an amazing personality and was very attentive to us. For our meals we got the pot roast and jambalaya. Best meals ever. 100% recommend going here!"
"We stayed for 3 nights at the Duluth Downtown Holiday Inn & Suites for the wife to have same day surgery at St. Mary's (they kept her overnight). We were both stressed and exhausted. Because of this I just ordered room service from Lyric. My orders: Cajun Pasta - excellent, I thought I was back in New Orleans. French toast & sausage links - simple but good. Pot Roast - very tasty, great flavor, nice portion. Wife had: Smoked gouda cheese burger with fries - great taste, she loved it. Chicken dumpling soup (bowl) - perfect amount, great taste. Room service: All meals were hot and arrived at the promised time. Server staff was great. Prices are fare and reasonable. There is an upcharge for room service. The only minus is the Duluth Downtown Holiday Inn & Suites does not have a continental breakfast and both restaurants in the hotel are closed on Sunday & Monday. This may be the winter schedule but you may want to check. Just use the hotel shuttle to go out to eat, there are plenty of good places to eat within 5 minutes of the hotel. Our truck never left the hotel during our stay. Absolutely will stay and eat here again."
