What People Are Saying
from Google"Stopped in at Coffee Hag while visiting from out of the area and immediately felt so welcomed. The LGBTQ+ signs and inclusive atmosphere were such a beautiful touch that made the space feel warm and safe. The lovely woman at the counter was an absolute delight, so friendly and excited to help me try something new. I went with the iced French Toast Latte (recommended by one of the baristas), and it was incredible! Sweet, cozy, and perfectly balanced. They also have lots of vegan options, which is a huge plus. I can’t say enough good things about this place, definitely worth a stop if you’re in Mankato!"
"Stopped here for some coffee. Had their house coffee (which I was told is between medium to dark roast), and a blueberry scone. Coffee was good, scone was fresh. I was offered if I’d like the scone to be warmed up, and that was a good decision. Scone tends to be dry, theirs wasn’t. Getting the house coffee also seemed like a good choice. Clean cutlery. Some locals and some tourists were hanging around. The place was clean as well. Cafe has a chic and cozy vibe to it."
"Coffee shop with tons of personality--with the drink choices and decor. The staff were so friendly and willing to chat with my mom and me, esp when we mentioned we were from out of town. They were also willing to offer suggestions about what we wanted to order. My mom's plain latte was great, and my Mayan Sun (spicy mocha) was a delicious taste of something a little different. Also the baked goods we got were soo good and very fresh, esp considering it was about a half hour before they closed"
"Very fun place to be! I felt comfortable being myself with the LGBTQ+ signs. Their frozen hot cocoa is a huge hit, one my kiddo and I swing in for from time to time. The atmosphere is nice and cozy."
"Great coffee, food, and atmosphere were met with poor service. I was impressed with the comfortable atmosphere, great coffee and tea, and tasty pastries. I will not be returning due to the rude and inattentive service my party received from both of the baristas working the day I visited."
