What People Are Saying
from Google"Harmony Café is one of those places I kept seeing on Instagram, and I finally decided to visit after saving it for a while. After coming here three times, I can honestly say it’s one of the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed cafés in Minnesota. Each visit has been a pleasant experience — the music is always great, the atmosphere is calm and minimal, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of café where you can slow down, relax, and enjoy a genuine moment with good coffee and conversation. The only small disappointment I’ve had is with their bagels. Out of my three visits, two times they were already sold out. I originally came specifically for the bagels, so it was a bit of a letdown — but honestly, it just shows how popular they are. I’ll have to come earlier next time. When something’s that good, it’s worth the effort. I believe the café is connected to a clothing boutique, which adds a creative touch to the space. The design is minimal, clean, and modern, reflecting the kind of aesthetic that feels right at home in Minnesota’s growing café scene. My favorite drink here is the Yuzu Matcha Tonic — it’s refreshing and unique. The only thing I’d suggest is a bit more consistency in flavor, as it sometimes tastes slightly different depending on who prepares it. I also heard that Harmony runs a wine bar in the evenings, and I’m definitely planning to come back to experience that side as well. Overall, Harmony Café is more than just a coffee shop — it’s a creative, lifestyle-driven space that blends design, music, and flavor beautifully. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate how much the Twin Cities’ café culture has evolved."
"Great little coffee shop with some really cool options. They have an extensive (kinda expensive but great coffee should cost more than it does) pour-over menu that changes frequently, had Dak, Tanat, Leaves (JP), and Tim Wendelboe when we were there. We had a washed Tanat Kenya Ruiri 11/SL28/SL34 and a Leaves washed Ethiopia Wuri heirloom, and their pourovers were extracted perfectly. Their menu includes info on roasters, origin, process, varietal, elevation, and of course tasting notes. We also had a clean, slightly caramelly tasting hōjicha from Gifu that was really tasty. If you are a coffee nerd from out of state, there will be something you like here. Also a nice orchid in the bathroom, and matchbooks at the counter."
"One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in a while! The parking is difficult and the space is small but spots open up quickly. I really like how the matcha is made and I enjoyed the sumo mandarin bagel. The barista was also very friendly and let me know in advance if I had to wait for anything"
"Beautiful spot. I spent the afternoon studying here and it quickly became one of my favorites spots. The inside is minimalistic with brutalist and industrial inspiration. The space is extremely clean and well kept. There are numerous outlets under the seats which are relatively comfortable and wooden. The tables might be my only complaint as they are quite small.. but adequate for most things. They play numerous records which Is quite unique and cool. The menu is small but all the items I tried were great. The pumpkin latte was recommended to me and was perfect and not too sweet. The entrance is located adjacent to the street in a small alley. They have one small gender neutral bathroom. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. I did not see a drinking fountain. Overall great spot!"
"Maybe my favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. Tucked in an alley, "garden level," but with plenty of light. Minimalist decor that's working for them. They really figured out their music system. Almost every other coffee shop either has generic Spotify "Cafe Vibes" playlist on or no quality control at all. Don't know how they do it, but I'm hitting that shazam button all the time. Cool gen z baristas before they flit off to Brooklyn. Slight nepo baby vibe in the clientele, but fine. Once saw a man with an undercut walk in a dog in a Victorian baby carriage."
