"I recently visited Lunds & Byerlys Uptown Minneapolis for the first time, and I left with a big smile. I honestly haven’t met such kind and helpful people in a long time. From the management to every employee we interacted with—everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. The store is beautiful and has a huge selection, so as first-time customers we felt a little overwhelmed trying to find specific items. But the staff kindly helped us right away and guided us to everything we needed. This was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had. "Produce is high quality. Prices are on the high side, but I try to support local chains over corporate ones. would like to see more local products on the shelves. Also the flow is very awkward. Feels like you are entering through the exit and you collide with people trying to leave."

"I go here all the time because it's convenient and clean, and sections are clearly marked. The $6 sushi special on Wednesday is fairly reasonable. Lunds & Byerly's is overpriced for the most part, so I wouldn't shop here other than for the Caribou or convenience sake. If it were Aldi's, Cub, or another grocery store, then I would be just as likely to go. It's nice and does the job."

"Very good selection. Great price on pineapple! Fresh produce! Edit 12/21/25: I would like to give a shoutout to the lady supervising the self-checkout. I was in line at a normal register, and it went down. I forgot to get her name, but she had glasses and a mask. Anyway, she pulled me over to the self-checkout, as the cashier and customer in front of me transitioned to a different lane. I am clumsy, and get nervous in self-checkout. She helped me through the process, and for once, I didn't feel like the world's biggest baffoon."
