"I went here for a quick bite on my birthday and received wonderful service! The service from Kara was quick, informed and very kind. We had the calamari for the appetizer and it was good. The chicken sandwich was also amazing and the tators were hot and crisp! We went during the 9pm happy hour and the drinks did not disappoint! I’m glad to see more good food spots in uptown! "Not a destination place but solid. This place has a small, busy vibe — kind of a mix between a sports bar, diner, and neon-sign hangout. The atmosphere is a little quirky, but honestly pretty chill and pleasant. The bartender was very friendly, and the whole place feels local and laid-back. You don’t come here for craft cocktails or standout food; you come for the casual neighborhood bar energy. It’s a solid spot if you’re looking for something simple and unpretentious."

"I was very pleasantly surprised by Mari’s. We ordered the slider sampler and the Uptown Smashburger and both were fantastic. The brisket slider was probably the best slider I’ve ever had. They also had deeply discounted drink specials (on the Wednesday night we visited) and the bartender Cara was a delight. We’ll be back!"

"Highly recommend. I live in the area, eat and drink at all the spots Great spot, great service comfy chairs and comfy food! Vibes are right. Sports and music videos makes it fun and mellow Lighting is perfectly dark and it feels all right. Had the steak quesadilla. It was very good!"

"Abigail’s service was so incredible, I transcended time AND Space. It was practically an out of body experience. Best believe I will be including her in my will. She lives in my brain rent free, and I’m not mad about it. I will most certainly be back, she told me she offers baptisms too, because Mari’s offers everything. 10/10 recommend. Also the chefs and manager provided stellar service. I will never forget and will be back frequently ."
