"Walking in the first impression is striking. The ceilings are incredibly high and the lights feel like stars in the sky against the dark ceiling. There is lush rust colored velvet booth-like seating on either side of the doors and a very welcoming bar with multiple screens and marbling that is lit from within. The high chairs in the high top tables are beautiful rich green in contrast to the blues and the rustic orange. We were very warmly greeted by Fatima and seated immediately with thoughtfulness. We knew this was one of the top best restaurants in Minneapolis and it was easy to see why. Service by Sherwan was attentive and prompt -- quiet and graciously smiling. He answered our questions about Sujuk -- a spicy beef sausage we had not tried before. I had the Sujuk eggs Benedict and my friend had the Shashuka. The flavors were outstanding harmony with the bread and the fresh vegetables that accompanied. I also had the Turkish coffee which came out beautifully presented. Everything was plated incredibly well and the price is $13 for the Benedict and $13 for the Shashuka were very reasonable. Lunch and dinner dishes are a little more expensive but based on what we saw: equally rich in flavor and lavishly beautiful. The view from the window was probably the most appreciated especially as the snow started to come down. This was a very wonderful and memorable dining experience."

"Visited during Restaurant Week and tried the Lahmacun and the Gratin with Meat and Vegetables. The food was phenomenal and beautifully done. The service, however, was very disappointing. We had to serve our own water by grabbing a pitcher from a nearby table and still felt unattended. With only four people total in the restaurant, the lack of service was hard to understand. Great food, but the service really detracted from the experience."

"We’ve come here several times and we always enjoy the flavor and freshness of the food, this time we ordered many dishes that can barely remember but the “humus” is really amazing! Oh and I got a Turkish tea pretty good 👍 I will definitely come back… i highly recommend this place!"

★★★★★

"This place is amazing. I’ve been twice and both times were consistently good. I went with 10 people the first time and every single person enjoyed what they ordered. I have never had Turkish food before but I am a fan now!"

"We sat outside in the patio and it was beautiful. The service was excellent, very kind, and the patio was dog friendly. The waiter was very kind, and helpful. The food was delicious and so flavorful. They brought us some tea to end the meal that was really yummy. We will definitely go again!"
