I love the names of the chickens who are providing the eggs for the restaurant and proudly displayed on the wall. This is the ultimate breakfast diner."

The food is simple, good fare at a reasonable price. But what really makes it shine, like Minnesota, is the sense of community. A diverse array of patrons gather out of the cold to share stories, enjoy a hearty meal, and a coffee that never gets cold because a server is there immediately to top you off. Come for the food, stay for the sense of community. Don’t forget to enjoy the Hen Highlights curated by the owner with colorful biographies including each hen’s likes and dislikes 😆."

"Exactly what you would want from a cafe that has been there since 1971. By the time I was about to take some photos of our delicious breakfast, the plates were clearly emptied of the wonderful contents that were once upon them. My daughters loved their breakfast as did my wife and I. Have driven by it for my entire adult life and made the stop today. Great service, from a warm friendly staff! "In 933 reviews I still have yet to give 5 stars until now! A decades old and family owned establishment, you'll be hard pressed to find a better breakfast in town. You'll absolutely love the vintage diner feeling you get from the second you walk in the door. The service is outstanding and, personally, I enjoy eating breakfast at a counter seat. There's limited counter seating but if you go by yourself it's the best option and you'll usually get a seat faster as opposed to a table. The food was outstanding! Everything was cooked perfectly and it was out pretty fast! Personally my favorite is their steak and eggs dish. They also serve very good coffee and I didn't even have to ask for a refill which was a nice surprise, and the price I paid for everything was a good value! From the moment you leave, you'll already be thinking about when you want to come back! 5 star food, 5 star atmosphere and 5 star service. Take it from a local!"
