What People Are Saying
from Google"Hope Breakfast Bar gave us such a meaningful experience. With everything going on in Minnesota right now, it’s been hard to feel comfortable going out, but from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our server, Jen, was incredibly kind and professional, this was the second time she’s helped us, and she’s always wonderful. Toward the end of our meal, we found out that a couple seated near us had paid for our brunch. I was honestly near tears. That simple act of kindness meant more than they could know. Wish I could have said thank you before they left (I didn’t know they paid yet at the time) 🥹 Made me so happy! Great food, amazing service, and a place that truly feels like community. 💛"
"I really like this restaurant concept and have dined there multiple times, but I feel like they’re losing the edge on food quality. Presentation is pretty good as you can see, but the flavor is bland. Poblano tortilla was heartless and overloaded with greasy cheese. The other dish also low on flavor ….coffee drinks were decent. Bottom line is that it’s $30’ish or more per person and needs to be more memorable."
"I went to Hope Breakfast Bar with some friends for New Years brunch. We had a 10:30am reservation and was seated after a short wait (it was super busy!). The food was delicious--I got the vegan farm grazer ($16) and an almond milk latte ($6 plus $0.50 for almond milk)--and everyone else in my group enjoyed their dishes too. The only downside is that reservations are limited to 60 minutes; I wish the server would have told us that as we were sitting down, versus the host coming to our table and telling us our 60 minutes was up."
"This was our first visit. Stuffed poblano pepper had nice flavor, a little spicy, with seasoned hashbrowns. The biscuits and gravy was ok. Gravy was good but biscuits were oily like they had been reheated on the flat top. Chicken fried steak was ok as well. It could have been a little more fried and was expensive given the size. We sat in a Booth which was a little uncomfortable as its just hard wood. We came at 8:00am on Sunday and other wasn't to busy yet. Service was good and food came out very fast. Plenty of parking in the underground ramps."
"Very busy breakfast spot, great for brunch and gatherings. I recommend making reservations ahead of time. Free ramp/garage parking. Biscuit and gravy could use more gravy, chicken waffles were meh, kind of bland. The taco was good and the mini donuts were hot and delicious. Overall the food was ok but too expensive for this type of food."
