from Google"NEW FAVORITE SPOT FOR SURE !! Like I want to try one of everything on the menu .! I eat a lot of Thai food so that says a lot if it’s my fav. 🙌🏽 My boyfriend don’t even eat noodles but I made him try the chicken pad Thai and now he won’t give my bowl back. 😂 service was great . It’s a lot of food like the amount of chicken was crazy !"
"In St. Paul for business and had a craving for Thai. After looking at several places, I settled on Coconut Thai. We were immediately seated at a small table for two. The place was busy but not packed. The Curry Puffs and Spring Rolls caught my eye for starters. The Spring Rolls were fat, and the peanut dipping sauce was tasty. The Curry Puffs were a lot like samosas, but with a sweeter filling. They were smoking hot out of the fryer and had to sit for a few minutes before I could eat them. They came with a very interesting dipping sauce. The best I can describe is that it was like a mignonette with a hint of cucumber. Very good! For the main course, we ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and Thai Basil Stir Fry with chicken. The veggies in the stir fry were plentiful and cooked just right. The chicken was good but not spectacular. The Pad Thai had good flavor but could have had some heat, and the shrimp was on the small side and a little overcooked. The service was very good. The servers were attentive and friendly."
"Walking up to the building, the aroma of the food cooking in the kitchen filled the air with the most delicious scents. I was greeted immediately upon entering -my order was placed online and ready to go on a Saturday afternoon within 15 minutes. The food was fresh aromatic and delicious. I’ve never been here before and this will be my new go to. I got the tofu spring rolls which were out of this world Fresh and delicious with all the flavors you want and ended up getting the red curry, which was plentiful a very large portion with a side of the rice, jasmine and some pineapple juice. I brought it to the summit overlook Park to have a little picnic, and my senses are delighted, and my tummy is pleased."
"The food was excellent. Group of 8, we all got the curry and only had good things to say about it. Don't be afraid to order it spicy, it is definitely "Minnesota spice", but if you say you want it extra spicy, they can definitely accommodate 👌🌶🌶"
"I think the quality and flavors here are both better than the Edina site. Good Thai for sure. The spring rolls are fairly classic, a bit lite on the pork/shrimp, but good still. They come in two's and cut in half. A basic savory/sweet dark sauce. The Thai beef salad is pretty good, generally has the classic elements, though uses cucumbers, the dressing is lite, sweet and tangy as expected, the beef was not cooked in a sauce or caramelized as I have typically had it, still tastey. The yellow curry is a fan favorite of the clientele and probably one of their better curries, the green curry was prepared very classically and it was good. Not the best I have ever had, but solid. A good option for Thai if you are in the area on Grand. Service was very good. Almost every dish can be made Vegetarian and GF so a plus for dietary constraints"
