What People Are Saying

from Google

"Lovely place to go to see beautiful trees and plants. The palm dome is gorgeous to walk around and marvel at the beauty of nature. The Spice exhibit is interesting. To see where our spices and roots veggies look like while they are growing is quite the scene. The zoo is quite lovely although we didn't get to see much of it since we had to leave due to closing hours. Will return again to experience the full park and will update review"

"The botanical garden is wonderful, my personal favorite, and occasionally hosts fascinating plants like Horace the Corpse Flower! The zoo section with primates, big cats, giraffes, and other creatures is, of course, also great. The "Tropical Encounters" area with birds, turtles, and fish feels nice in the frigid Minnesota winter. Great for a date or spending time with friends and family. 😊 It's also free, but I recommend donating!"

"Incredible; a true treasure of the Twin Cities. Amazing and rare trees on display like the OSA pulchra from Costa Rica, which are exceedingly rare to view in a botanical garden setting and there are less than 30 growing in its indigenous setting. Loved seeing the state flower, the lady slipper, blooming in the middle of January!"

"I hope to always be able to spend time here when I visit Minnesota. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Conservatory and the Zoo. I went to them on different days so I had more time to take it all in- I would probably do the same in the future. It's a lot to look at. This is a great place to go as a family. I learned a lot! It was a little cold so some of the critters weren't as active or were indoors, but it kind of highlighted how all the animals have a warm place to go if they choose. I especially enjoyed the big cats. The staff is very kind and helpful. 😊 Also the cafe at the zoo is pretty good."
