What People Are Saying
from Google"A cozy neighborhood joint that makes you feel right at home. Be prepared to seat yourself and bus your own dishes, while enjoying a hearty meal. Their menu has great variety, with my favorite being the coconut chicken sandwich."
"I ordered takeout a couple weeks back and still can't stop thinking about their pulla apple cider. It was nice and hot and included a nice blend of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom I think). It was everything you could want in fall drink. I would go back just for that. I also ordered their reindeer sausage & potato quiche and farmer pasty dinner, both of which came with a side salad and some type of white dressing/sauce. The quiche was addictingly delicious and a pretty decent size. It was flavorful and creamy. Would recommend. I've never had a pasty before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the outside dough was kind of tough and the meat inside seemed to be a bit overcooked. Despite the the pasty, I would still come back again for the cider and quiche. They were so good!"
"Order at the counter and find a seat. It's super busy so there is a long line and a bit of a wait. Wooden chairs with no handles so easy for plus size butts, they are sturdy. But almost no space between tables so expect to squeeze and lots of op sorry as you slip on past people. I got a coffee, my husband got a hot cider, and we split a classic breakfast with some French toast. The bacon was thick and perfect, we got basted eggs and they were cooked exactly as you would expect. Could have used some salt and pepper which they don't keep at the table. Potatos were perfect tenderness yeah. I looked at all the stuff already. French toast was super fluffy and moist tons of fruit and whip. Overall we were very pleased."
"OMG! This place is amazing! I brought my parents here for the first time to experience a finish bistro. They're from a really small town and don't have something like this. We were able to look at the menus ahead of time, I went to the cashier to give our orders. The cashiers and all the employees were very kind! Two of us had the quiche: ham and cheese I think it was, and it was SOO delicious! It was huge too! I could have split it with my mom, but we each took half of ours home. My dad got this thing called meat pie , which is like some sort of hot dog on Wild rice, on hot dog buns? And then my husband got another meal. We enjoyed some tea, and picked up a few sweet treats for the ride home. I would definitely come here again, I would love to try more things on the menu. One of the bakery items that we wanted were out, but the employee said that we should try this lingonberry item instead, and we did, and it was great! I thought it was going to be super sour for some reason with lingonberries. But it really , all this food, opened my eyes, and I'm so appreciative that this business is in St paul. By the way, my parents aren't very mobile so this was an easy enough restaurant to get in and out of, there are no stairs. The bathroom, which I took photos of, to help with showing others how accessibile the bathrooms are. I wasn't able to share pictures of all of the menu, because Google limits me to 50 photos. But please enjoy all the pastries in the pictures . Pictures are from approximately September 22nd, 2025. , also! Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program!"
"Fun bistro atmosphere with a unique and delicious menu. Harder to do group orders, and drink add ons, as you have to go up to the counter and order and pay when you order so have your drinks and food orders all set up when you go order. The coffee is great, the staff are friendly and fun, and the food is delicious."
