from Google"Just Finished breakfast at Hope Breakfast bar in Chanhassen. I ordered the house coffee and was amazed. I usually add cream because most coffees are acidic. Not this morning. This medium roast is smooth and I drank the entire Stanley thermos. I'll be ordering online today. God bless you and your business."
"I still think about the first cup of Trustone I had years ago at a service event in St Paul. It floored me! I normally don't like coffee without a splash of cream, but their coffee was so smooth and decadent that it didn't need any."
"We have been using True Stone Coffee at our coffee shop for years now, and I personally love it! They are great to work with, and the coffee always meets our needs perfectly. I love being adventurous and trying some new things. They have great service and always are very helpful in answering my questions (or finding the answer for me!). I buy their coffee myself and always recommend them to others!"
"This review pertains to True Stone Coffee Wholesale, NOT the True Stone Coffee Shop(s). Amazing Coffee 5 years ago! Now: average, and more expensive. When I first started buying coffee from True Stone 4/5 years ago, they would custom roast my coffee beans after I placing an order via the online store. If ordered before 10am, it would be arrive at my home in hand-sealed grocery store style bags the same day. A 16oz (1lb) bag of beans cost about $15 on average. The shipped box of beans would fill the whole house with the smell of fresh coffee. After receiving an order a few days ago, it had become apparent that True Stone is no longer the husband & wife business of the past. It has become a larger commercial enterprise. Prices have increased 25%, beans arrive in sealed "commercial" style foil-lined bags in 12oz portions, and do not smell or taste as fresh. In the past, I looked forward with anticipation to seeing (and smelling) that box of coffee on my front doorstep. Now... I think I'll just buy my beans from the local grocery store. I'm happy that a local couple were able to successfully build their small business into a successful operation, but the result was a decline in quality, and increase in price. In a City full of 'boutique' coffee roasters, True Stone once distinguished itself with amazing coffee that was always a special treat. Now they have become just another local brand, producing a product that is equivalent to all the other local brands."
"I took a class of first year college students here as part of a class that explores coffee and ethical consumption. The staff and owner were EXCELLENT hosts. I've long loved True Stone coffee and it was a real pleasure to get a chance to do a cupping with the pros and see the operation in action. These folks are THE BEST."
