"I ordered a Peppermint Bark Cheesecake for Christmas. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. I have pictures below to show what I ordered off the website, my order confirmation and what I got. The actual cake looks NOTHING like what I ordered. I thought maybe I was given the wrong order so I showed them the picture from their website and was told pictures are AI generated (not stated on the website) and so it won’t look the same. I get that it might look a little different but this doesn’t even look remotely similar. What a waste of my money. I ended up going to Hyvee to get something that looks like a holiday dessert."

"We had high hopes for this bakery, wanting to support small town business even though we reside in Austin. We ordered a bluey cake for my nephew, we were told the characters would not be included which was fine as we already had them to add to the cake, we sent in the cake we wanted made and were told it would be no problem to replicate. My nephew turns 4 today and we drove in a blizzard to pickup the cake for his surprise bday, after arriving home we looked at the cake and it was no where near the cake we had asked for, the sprinkles, color and most of all his name was missing from the cake, the taste was very wet and eggy and everyone was complaining about the cake including my nephew who took one bite and said something was wrong with the cake. Luckily the owners gave us a refund, however upon looking more into the bakery AI photos of cakes seem to be common on the website and Facebook page, AI can be super deceiving what was suppose to be a fun day celebrating ended up being a thrown away cake and going to hyvee for the rescue afterwards."

"Absolutely amazing! Cannot say enough good things! The new bakery is amazing for families and alms always the food and beverages are wonderful! Darlin’ bakery is the best!! We’ve ordered our cakes and cookies here for years! We always love the flavor and of course the beautiful decorations!! Definitely recommend ordering specialty cakes and cookies if you want to have your vision come to life! A lot of time and care is put into all of her orders. Make sure you order ahead as this is not Walmart, everything is made from scratch and she takes time to make quality cakes and baked goods!"
