Efficient and wise cracking, she fires off her "hons" and "dears" indiscriminately. I grew up a mile away and left long ago. Breakfast today was a trip to a gentler, less pretentious time. It should be rated in that perspective. The upscale chain brunch places and country clubs do their thing and serve bloody Marys from a pitcher but I'd rather chill at Beanhaven."
